Week 0: Hello
And to those whom I’ve recently bid goodbye to, hello again; and welcome to #myvoyagehome.
On the first day of December in 2021, I moved across continents (Melbourne to Singapore) to begin a new chapter in life, in hopes of being closer to home. And as I was bidding my goodbyes to the various people who have left inerasable imprints on my life, one common phrase I kept hearing inspired this upcoming series of posts —“Keep in touch, I’d love to hear about your adventures!”
And so, this is the preface to the series of posts I will be creating weekly over the next year, in attempt to document the quests I will go on as part of this new adventure, and in some weeks, perhaps, to reflect on what I’ve learnt in the last 8 years of self-searching as an immigrant, a career person, a human being.
As you join me on #myvoyagehome, I hope my stories would serve as weekly updates, if not inspiration.
